Are you interested in learning more about the world of medical coding, but aren’t sure where to begin? MMI’s new Intro to Medical Coding course is designed to help brand new coders get acquainted with the basics of the field. This course requires no previous experience in the medical field, and each lesson is designed to teach the fundamentals of coding from the ground up. If you’ve always wanted to know more about the coding world before committing to taking a full certification, then this is the course for you.

The Intro to Medical Coding course is also ideal for those who are in non-coding medical positions but want to know more about what happens with patient documentation after it leaves the provider’s hands. Whether you’re a biller, manager, physician assistant, nurse, front desk staff member, or even a physician, this course is a great way to get an introduction to another side of the healthcare field.

Because Intro to Medical Coding is not a full certification, it is perfect for anyone who wants a taste of the coding industry in order to make sure that it’s right for them. Sign up today, and take the first step on your journey to becoming a medical coder.

**Because this course is an intro course, it is not a CEU course and you will not be awarded CEUs upon completion.
