Final Exam Information & Instructions

• You will have 60 days to complete the exam from the date you were enrolled. 
• You will need to obtain a 70% to pass
• You have two attempts to pass the final exam as long as it is completed within your 60 day deadline.
• It is encouraged to complete the test in one sitting,  though if it is necessary to log-off and log back in, the test should resume where you left off. 
• You must complete the exam within 24 hours of when you start. 
• If the deadline is missed or you need more than 2 attempts to achieve the 70% score - a $75 fee will be assessed to unlock the examination for a 3rd try and/or testing after the deadline. 

KEYS TO SUCCESS

• Take and pass the practice exam before attempting the final exam
• Make sure you have your 2022 AMA CPT Professional Edition, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS books and review important resources like class slides, recordings, instructor references, and so on.
•  Have your electronic slides, resource materials and notes from the course. These are key, as well as having active webpages to research additional reference materials!

ADDITIONAL EXAM INFO

• The exam will be scored once you have answered all 150 questions (regardless of if you click the Submit button ) or if your exam times out after the 24 hour deadline.
• The system saves each answered question, so in the event of a power or internet outage you can just log back into your account and pick up where you left off.
• You may log off and can return to navigate to any of the questions on the exam using the navigation bar at the bottom of the test window.  If you desire to research some questions before clicking the submit button – make sure that you have answers for all 150 questions.  The system will grade your exam on questions answered/submitted the moment 24 hours elapses or the moment 150 questions have been answered.
• This is an open-book test. You may NOT use any assistance from another person during the course.

Required Materials:  You will need your 2022 CPT Professional Edition, ICD-10-CM and HCPCS.
